Homeownership

The Homeownership & Relocation Services Division is the unit of the Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) that is charged with bringing affordable home buying opportunities to Fairfax County's eligible first-time homebuyers. The Homeownership Division provides homebuyer counseling, hosts home buying education classes, and has programs that offer affordably priced homes, mortgage and down payment and closing cost assistance.

Updated Homeownership Resource Center Hours

Effective immediately and until further notice, the Homeownership Resource Center will be closed on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.  If you are bringing applicant materials to the office, you may turn them in at the rental reception desk (across the hall from the Homeownership Resource Center) at 3700 Pender Drive, Fairfax, VA 22030.  The Homeownership Resource Center will remain open on Mondays and Fridays from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.  We appreciate your patience with this change.
