Pleasant Valley Community Meeting on July 27, 2023

(Update on October 23, 2023 - The applicant has requested a deferral of this application until January 2024. Supervisor Smith will bring forward a motion to defer this application at the October 24, 2023 Board of Supervisors Meeting. The Office of the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors will look to reschedule the public hearing for this application.)

The Pleasant Valley Community Meeting regarding the land use application, RZ-2022-SU-00019 (PDCREF 2 Chantilly LLC), will be held on Thursday, July 27 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. This meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format to allow attendees to join in person, virtually, or via phone.

 

Ways to Join:
  • In person: The in-person meeting location will be the community rooms at the Sully District Governmental Center (4900 Stonecroft Blvd.). The rooms are located on the right-hand side as you enter the building.

Important Notes:
  • The applicant is requesting to rezone a 12.1-acre portion of the property located at 33-2 ((1)) 6 from the 1-3, 1-5, and C-8 Zoning Districts to the 1-5 Zoning District to permit the development of one of two options on the subject property:
    • Option 1 is a Data Center development with a Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of 0.8. A Special Exception is also proposed for Option 1 to allow an increase in building height from 75 feet to 110 feet.
    • Option 2 is a Warehouse development with an FAR of 0.3.

  • The Fairfax County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding this application on September 20, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors will hold its own public hearing for the application following this date (not yet determined).
