June 22: 80’s Flashback

June 23: Virtu-rose-o Arrangement

Floral Design – Roses in Bloom: June is the time for beautiful roses. Designer Chuck Mason will teach you how to arrange a dozen roses as well as how to use roses to create a bud-vase arrangement and a small centerpiece. Learn what vase shape works best, as well as the special care and handling requirements for roses. From 9:30 to 11 a.m. at Green Spring Gardens. Dairy Days – Ice Cream Making and Butter: Churn butter, crank ice cream, milk a fake cow, play 18th-century games and experience the products of a historic dairy.
