Courthouse Closed May 16; Some Court Operations Modified

Due to an ongoing issue with the electronic access control system, the Fairfax County Courthouse will remain closed on Friday, May 16. The following courts are affected:
Bond motions, arraignments, and juvenile detention hearings previously scheduled on May 15, 2025 and May 16, 2025 will be held virtually on Friday, May 16.
Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court protective order hearings will be heard on Friday, May 16, in the Historic Courthouse, 4000 Chain Bridge Road, Fairfax.
If You Planned to Visit the Courthouse for Business:
- The courthouse will remain closed on Friday, including for functions like record and document requests, payments and other walk-in services.
