You may provide testimony at public hearings in person*, in writing, by phone or video. For submission deadlines, speaking time and complete details visit the ways to provide public hearing testimony webpage


 

* In person testimony is not allowed at electronic / virtual meetings, as noted on the meeting page. Please check the Board Meeting schedule and the agenda/package for each meeting to know whether the Board will be meeting in person or electronically.

ADA Accommodations: for reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities, please call the Clerk to the Board as soon as possible but no later than 48 hours before the public hearing.

  • The deadline for video submissions is 9:00 a.m. on the Monday before the Tuesday Board meeting.
  • For telephone testimony you will be contacted at the preferred phone number you include on this form. 
  • Only one individual may speak as the representative of any one group or association and must be authorized by that group or association to speak on its behalf.
  • If you are registering to testify via video, please note:
    • Requests must be fully completed by 9 a.m. the day prior to the hearing.
    • Comments must be limited to issues relevant to the public hearing for which you are testifying.
    • Individuals are given three minutes to speak; if you are the spokesperson for a group you have five minutes to speak.
    • Videos must be uploaded to – and playable from – YouTube without advertisements.
    • Videos must be standard YouTube submissions, not YouTube Shorts.
    • Videos must have audio levels between -15dB and -3dB to be discernable in the Board Auditorium and on cablecast. Volume levels in YouTube can be checked by right-clicking on the video and selecting “Stats for nerds."
