Online, or by phone (703-324-3151, TTY 711), requests to speak before the Board of Supervisors must be completed by noon on the day of the hearing to ensure your place on the speakers list.
Public hearings are held in the Board Auditorium at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035.

How to Testify at a Public Hearing
- If you are speaking on your own behalf you are given three minutes to speak.
- If you are speaking for a group you have five minutes. Please bring 15 copies of any materials you will hand out.
- If you are registering for public comment, then everyone is given three minutes. A maximum of 10 speakers will be heard and speakers may address the Board only once during a six-month period. The Board will hear public comment on any issue except: issues under litigation; issues that have been scheduled for public hearing before the Board; and personnel matters and/or comments regarding individuals.
