CALL TO ORDER

Commission Chair Crawford called the Wednesday, April 21, 2021 Commission Meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

Approval of AgendaIt was moved by Commissioner Solon and seconded by Commissioner Salinas that the April 21, 2021 Agenda be approved as presented.  The motion passed by unanimous vote.

 

Approval of Minutes:  It was moved by Commissioner Solon and seconded by Commissioner Salinas that the April 7, 2021 Minutes be approved as presented.  The motion passed by majority vote with Commissioner Malik abstaining.

 

STAFF ISSUESThere were no staff issues.  

 

COMMISSION BUSINESSMotion Language - It was moved by Commissioner Alber and seconded by Commissioner Solon to maintain the same process that the Commission has been using when making motions.  The motion passed with unanimous vote.

 

HRC# 2021013H - FIRIt was moved by Commissioner Alber and seconded by Commissioner Malik that this complaint be dismissed due to insufficient evidence that a violation of the Fair Housing Act has occurred consistent with the recommendation of OHREP.  The motion passed by unanimous vote.

 

HRC #2021001H - FIR:  It was moved by Commissioner Bell-Krasner and seconded by Commissioner Salinas that this complaint be dismissed due to insufficient evidence that a violation of the Fair Housing Act has occurred consistent with the recommendation of OHREP.  The motion passed by majority vote, with Commissioner Conde abstaining.

 

COMMUNITY CONCERNS:  Outreach Event - Commissioner Crawford mentioned the Fair Housing email that was sent by staff, and encouraged all Commissioners to attend the Outreach Event(s)/ 

PENDING BUISNESS:  There was no Pending Business.

 

NEW BUSINESS:  There was no New Business.
