CALL TO ORDER

Commission Chair Crawford called the Wednesday, December 16, 2020 Commission Meeting to order at 7:30 P.M.

 

Approval of AgendaIt was moved by Commissioner Malik and seconded by Commissioner Salinas that the December 16, 2020 Agenda be approved as amended.  The motion passed by unanimous vote.

 

Approval of Minutes:  It was moved by Commissioner Salinas and seconded by Commissioner Hudson that the December 2, 2020 Minutes be approved as presented.  The motion passed by majority vote with Commissioner Crawford abstaining.

 

STAFF ISSUESThere were no staff issues.

 

COMMISSION BUSINESS

 

HRC# 2020082H – FIR -- It was moved by Commissioner Salinas and seconded by Commissioner Solon that this complaint be dismissed due to insufficient evidence that a violation of the Fair Housing Act has occurred consistent with the recommendation of OHREP.  The motion passed by majority vote, with Commissioner Conde opposing the motion and Commissioner Bell-Krasner abstaining.

 

HRC# 2020078H – Conciliation -- It was moved by Commissioner Alber and seconded by Commissioner Malik that this conciliation agreement in this matter be accepted as presented. The motion passed by unanimous vote.

 

COMMUNITY CONCERNS

 

The Commissioners inquired about Outreach.  Staff will send out brochures in the Commission packets as well as electronic copies for the Commissioners to share at outreach events.

 

PENDING BUISNESS There was no Pending Business.

 

NEW BUSINESS There was no New Business.
