Cancelled! The November Legislative Committee Meeting has been cancelled.  The Legislative Committee will convene again once the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation District's (VASWCD) Legislative Committee determines/announces is Legislative Priorities for the coming year at the VASWCD Annual Meeting in early December.

The Northern Virginia SWCD Legislative Committee meets regularly to support the NVSWCD Board of Directors by providing policy advice and draft communications for their consideration and to facilitate the expression of its official views to the Virginia Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts (VASWCD), the Virginia General Assembly, and executive branch agencies of the Commonwealth of Virginia, Fairfax County and other entities associated with the local, state, or federal government, as useful to advance the mission of the NVSWCD.

This meeting will be held in person in the Herrity Building at 12055 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax VA, 22035. Attendees may also have the opportunity to join virtually. To learn more or RSVP, please contact ConservationDistrict@fairfaxcounty.gov.
