Location: Braddock District
Scope: The work will include, but not limited to: grading, excavation, fill, stream alignment, in-stream and log structures, reinforced bed material, riparian corridor enhancement. NCD techniques will be used to develop a stable channel such as utilizing pool root wads, modified cross vanes, log sill cascades, toe logs, in-stream log sills, log vanes with rock sills, in-stream rock sills, root wad toes, creating meandering riffles and low flow pools. The work also includes restoration of the disturbed area with native species/landscaping, dredging of two ponds, and trail rehabilitation.
