In accordance with Subpart F of 2 CFR 200, we are pleased to present the Single Audit (formerly known as A-133 audits) and Compliance Reports of the County of Fairfax, Virginia. The Single Audit is an organization-wide audit of the County’s federal grants since the County expends $750,000 or more in federal funds each fiscal year. It is intended to provide assurance to the Federal Government that the County has adequate internal controls in place, and is generally in compliance with program requirements. The Compliance Reports incorporate the Single Audit in it, as well as findings related to the County’s financial statements and compliance with state specifications.
