Building Status
The Pennino Building, 12011 Government Center Parkway in Fairfax, is now reopened, following repairs related to flooding that damaged the facility in February.
All services normally available at Pennino, which is home to several county human services programs and offices, will be available when the building reopens.
Extensive repairs have been completed throughout the facility, including work on building systems and elevators. Air quality testing conducted throughout the process found no elevated levels of airborne contaminants. Final testing and inspections are underway in preparation for reopening.
The community’s patience and understanding throughout the closure is appreciated. Fairfax County continued providing services via alternate locations, online resources and other accommodations while repairs were completed.
