Guidelines for Public Comment

  • Fifteen minutes will be reserved at the end of each SCYPT meeting to allow non-members to address the SCYPT.
  • Remarks on agenda topics for that day’s meeting will be prioritized. If time allows, remarks on other priority issues for the SCYPT will be allowed.
  • Non-members will be given up to three minutes each to address the SCYPT. In the event of multiple individuals requesting to speak, the amount of time may be reduced to accommodate more speakers.
  • Individuals addressing the SCYPT are encouraged to bring 60 copies of handouts and other supporting materials to distribute. 
  • Individuals wishing to address the SCYPT shall sign up at the meeting; a sign-up sheet will be placed next to the meeting handouts.
