The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors is seeking public input on the FY 2027 Advertised Budget Plan as it reviews the proposal and considers possible modifications before adopting a final budget in May. Residents may participate through district budget town halls, formal public hearings, an online survey and written comments. District Budget Town Hall Meetings
Members of the Board of Supervisors are hosting budget town halls across the county to provide an overview of the FY 2027 Advertised Budget and answer questions from residents.

Public Hearings on the FY 2027 Budget
The Board of Supervisors will hold formal public hearings on the FY 2027 Advertised Budget Tuesday through Thursday, April 14–16. Hearings will take place at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, in the Board Auditorium. Residents who wish to speak must register in advance. Testimony may be provided in person, by phone or by video. Written testimony may also be submitted before or during the hearing.

Online Budget Survey
Residents may also provide feedback through an online survey that asks about the overall direction of the Advertised Budget and potential modifications.

The FY 2027 Advertised Budget includes an interactive budget dashboard that provides a visual overview of the proposed budget.
The dashboard allows users to explore county programs and services (disbursements), the revenue sources that support them and recent trends in revenues and spending. Users can move between pages and hover over charts for additional detail.

About the FY 2027 Budget
The FY 2027 Advertised Budget Plan was presented by County Executive Bryan Hill on Tuesday, Feb. 17. The Board of Supervisors is reviewing the proposal and may make adjustments before adopting a final budget on Tuesday, May 21.
