The new space at Huntsman Square in Springfield marked an exciting step forward for the Burke-Springfield Center Without Walls as it moved into a dedicated brick-and-mortar facility. The new location gives older adults more opportunities to take part in recreation, education, and enrichment programs in a warm and accessible environment. With additional space and resources, the center is ready to strengthen community connections and support lifelong learning for Fairfax County’s growing older adult population. The community celebrated the center’s grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, light refreshments, and an open house.
