Fairfax Connector’s popular Spooky Buses are back for another Halloween season, featuring three buses decked out in unique Halloween-themed designs. The festive buses will begin making their way throughout Fairfax County during October.
Each bus has its own festive look, giving riders a chance to spot different designs as they travel throughout the Fairfax Connector service area.

“Fall and Halloween are my favorite time of year, so I love getting creative with the designs,” said Nicole Daly, Fairfax Connector Marketing Specialist. “But the best part is seeing the excitement on the faces of kids and adults when they spot one of the buses rolling down the street. It’s really special knowing something I created can bring a little fun and joy to someone’s day.”

The wrapped buses will operate out of each of our three bus facilities: Huntington, West Ox and Herndon. They will be circulated on different routes daily so riders may find one pulling up at their stop — or passing by while they’re out and about.

Spooky Buses will also make appearances at events throughout Fairfax County in October, including Big Truck Night at Frying Pan Farm Park in Herndon on Friday, Oct. 16, from 5 to 7 p.m.
