Highlighted by the Fairfax NewsCenter, the Demographic Reports 2024 were published as part of an annual effort to provide insights into our local community. In 2024, Fairfax County continues to experience steady growth in both housing and population. We are also enhancing our analysis of economic equity across the county by introducing the Gini Index, a standard measure of income inequality, for the first time, alongside continued reporting of the poverty rate. The report data is utilized for decision-making in various areas.
