2026 Retiree Open Enrollment
Retiree Open Enrollment begins on November 3, 2025, and will end on November 21, 2025. Retirees have the option to make changes to their current enrollments for the new plan year, beginning on January 1, 2026. Retirees may not add or increase benefit elections.
Not making changes? Retirees who do not wish to make any changes to their health plan and life insurance benefits do not need to take action during Retiree Open Enrollment. Only complete a Retiree Open Enrollment Form if you wish or are required to make a change for 2026.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR 2026 - END OF THE CIGNA TRUE CHOICE CORE MEDICARE ADVANTAGE PLAN PPO
In 2024, Cigna announced its intention to sell its Medicare products, including the Cigna True Choice Core Medicare Advantage Plan (PPO) and the Cigna RX Part D Prescription Drug Plan. This sale was finalized with Health Care Service Corporation (HCSC) in early 2025. As a result, the Cigna True Choice Core Medicare Advantage Plan PPO will not be offered as a plan option in 2026.
To maintain coverage in the county-sponsored medical plan, all participants currently enrolled in the Cigna True Choice Core Medicare Advantage Plan PPO must make a new election during the Retiree Open Enrollment.
