Sentencing
The sentencing is scheduled for May 8, 2026, in Courtroom 5J, Fairfax County Circuit Court. Court sessions usually begin at 10 a.m. unless otherwise ordered by the court. A media pool will be used in this case.
Required Acknowledgment
All media outlets wishing to access the media pool video feed or images must complete the required Media Acknowledgment Form below after reading the Media Order dated Aug. 25, 2025. Signing the form affirms the media representative has read and understands the guidelines. If you have already signed the form to cover the trial, you do not need to complete it again.
Video/Audio
Law and Crime Network is the media pool coordinator for video and audio coverage of the sentencing.
A digital pool feed will be provided. Law and Crime Network will distribute an access link to the live feed directly to authorized members of the media.
To be authorized, media must complete the Media Acknowledgment Form located at the bottom of the website. Once the form is submitted, Law and Crime Network will include the outlet on the authorized distribution list and send the digital feed link.
Media will access the live proceedings via the digital feed only. There will be no physical cable connections or mult box access for the pool feed.
Members of the press who plan to attend the trial in person may use the designated media area identified on this website for interviews and live shots, as cameras are not permitted inside the courthouse.
If members of the media miss the sentencing, they must contact Law and Crime Network directly to arrange access to video from the missed proceeding. Requests should be sent to Lacey LeCroy via email Lacey@lawandcrime.com.
Seating, Devices, Media Inquiries, Additional Information
Courtroom Seating: There will not be any set aside seating for the media in the courtroom. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis and is subject to availability. Once the courtroom is full, no additional seats will be made available.
Note on Devices and Conduct: Members of the gallery, whether media or not, may not use or display cellular telephones or laptop computers or similar portable electronic devices in the courtroom. Confiscation and expulsion will result from any violation.
