Fairfax County Animal Services (FCAS) is recruiting new foster volunteers!

We are looking for fosters who can care for the following types of pets:

  • Large adult dogs who need a temporary home for up to a week
  • Pregnant or nursing mother cats and their kittens
  • Kittens receiving medical treatment
  • Weaned kittens who need increased socialization with people

We have a particular need for dog fosters who do not have other pets at home.

In our New Foster Information Session, you will learn about our FCAS, shelter operations, how the Foster Program works, and the types of animals that benefit most from foster placement. You will also have an opportunity to ask questions. To sign up, click the link below!
