The 3rd Annual Back to School Community Day took place at Lorton Community Center, where families enjoyed free school supplies, health screenings, food, music, yard games, and activities. Mount Vernon District Supervisor Dan Storck and School Board Member Mateo Dunne hosted the event alongside local organizations and county agencies offering resources and programs to support students and families getting ready for the new school year.
