Fairfax Connector marked its 40th anniversary with a community celebration featuring a fully restored 1985 Orion bus, displays of transit history, and recognition of the operators, mechanics, and staff who keep buses running. The event highlighted Connector’s growth from 10 routes in 1985 to more than 90 routes serving Fairfax County today.
