The Fairfax County Department of Transportation (FCDOT) will host two virtual open houses on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at noon and 7 p.m. to discuss proposed service changes planned for Winter 2026 on select routes.
The proposed adjustments aim to improve service reliability and better meet rider demand on the following routes: 335, 401, 402, 553, 651, and 983.

| 335: Fort Belvoir Express | Runtime adjustment. Make detour permanent. |
| 401: Backlick – Gallows Road Northbound | Adjustment to weekday schedule. No change to weekend service. |
| 402: Backlick – Gallows Road Southbound | Adjustment to weekday schedule. No change to weekend service. |
| 553: Kingstream – Herndon - Fox Mill | Improvement in service reliability |
| 651: Chantilly – Monument Drive | Adjustment to weekday schedule, service remains the same. No change to weekend service. |
| 983: Dulles Airport – Udvar Hazy | Increase frequency on weekends. Stop relocation at Dulles Airport. |
