Board of Supervisors - Franconia District Alert:
Since 2009, the Fort Belvoir Garrison, Franconia-Springfield area residents, businesses and elected officials have walked across the Veterans Bridge from Springfield Plaza to American Legion Post 176 to commemorate the renewal of the United States Army’s Community Covenant. The short walk ends with a community celebration featuring refreshments and entertainment.
