About the Program
The Fairfax County Police Department Public Safety Cadets program provides leadership, ethics, and career preparation training to young people 14–20 years old with an interest in a career in law enforcement. Fairfax County operates three Public Safety Cadets units: Unit 1742 at the Fairfax County Criminal Justice Academy, Unit 2252 at West Potomac High School, and Unit 505 at Annandale High School.
