Join us for a cheerful spring celebration filled with kittens, crafts, and community fun. Meet adorable kittens, enjoy activity stations, and explore easy ways to support shelter pets. Whether you’re stopping by to learn, create, or simply enjoy the day, there’s something for everyone at our second annual Kitten Spring Fling!

No need to sign up. Stop by anytime between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.! Bring the whole family, and if you’d like to support our foster program, we’ll be collecting much‑needed supplies to help stuff our van.

Here’s what you can look forward to:

• A Kitten Meet & Greet Zone, a safe, supervised area to see and gently pet the kittens
• Light refreshments
• Our Stuff the Van donation drive for foster supplies
• Kid-friendly activities, including a face‑painting station
• A Fostering Info Station, where guests can learn about our lifesaving foster programs and how to get involved
• Community partner tables, featuring Friends of the Fairfax County Animal Shelter and more
• An opportunity to meet our Field Services team, featuring our Animal Services Officers
• Special appearances by cat‑friendly adoptable dogs! These pups have previously lived successfully with cats, but every cat–dog relationship is unique. Slow, supervised introductions are always recommended to help ensure a happy match.
