Looking for a calm, cozy, and engaging way for your child to enjoy summer reading? Join us for Paws and Read at our Lorton Campus! Children can practice their reading skills and make progress on their summer reading lists while spending time with our adoptable cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and birds. This drop-in reading program gives young readers a chance to build confidence while our shelter pets enjoy some quiet company.
