Fairfax Connector to Suspend Service at 9 p.m. on Jan. 24; No Service Jan. 25

Due to the approaching winter storm, Fairfax Connector will suspend bus service along all routes beginning at 9 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 24. Bus service will be suspended through Sunday, Jan. 25. 

Please check back for additional status updates as the storm progresses.
 

Key Information for Riders

  • Monitor Individual Route Status and Detours with Bus Tracker. Passengers may also sign up for text and/or email alerts for route-specific information. Note that during severe weather events, buses may be running behind regularly scheduled arrival times.

  • Follow @fairfaxconnector on X and Facebook; sign up for transportation alerts on Fairfax Alerts; or visit www.fairfaxcounty.gov/connector/operatingstatus for additional status alerts.

  • Delays Expected During Severe Weather Events. Weather and road conditions across the county can vary; however, we anticipate that all routes may experience delays as a result of severe weather events. Passengers should plan for additional travel time to get to their destination.

  • Limit Travel During the Storm. The public is encouraged to limit travel during the storm and exercise caution if travel is necessary.
