Long Route Update:

If you’re planning to ride the 40-mile, long route, there are a few updates regarding access to Fort Belvoir. Unfortunately, due to recent security measures, we will not be able to ride through Fort Belvoir. Access is now limited to those with DoD ID cards and their sponsored guests, and it’s not feasible to pre-vet participants at this time, even if you have already submitted your information. While this was a tough decision, it was made by Fort Belvoir Leadership with safety and security as the top priority. We have created a new version of the long route that will take you further into Mason Neck for an equally scenic experience.

TdMV Ride Highlights:

  • Workhouse Arts Center
  • Lorton Police Station and Animal Shelter
  • Mason Neck State Park - Long Route only
  • Gunston Hall
  • Pohick Bay Regional Park - Rest Stop
  • National Museum of the U.S. Army - Long Route only
  • Gerry Connolly Cross County Trail

Youth & Family Ride Highlights:

  • Workhouse Arts Center
  • Fairfax County Park Authority Central Green
  • Bike Rodeo - bike safety and fun activities
