Moore shared insights about how the Ride Your Way program collaborates with businesses to create tailored transportation solutions.
"One of the key things that we stress when it comes to dealing with employers is that demands have changed over the years. We used to talk about years ago the benefits of telework. Now, through an unfortunate situation of COVID, people have had to change their mindset over how they can be productive as an organization, where people are not necessarily on-site."
By working with employers, the program helps to implement transportation programs such as teleworking, transit benefits and incentives for using public transportation modes like buses and trains. Through tailored strategies, the program aims to reduce traffic and provide better commuting options for employees.
SUPPORTING INDIVIDUAL COMMUTERS
The Ride Your Way program is not just about working with employers; it also supports individual commuters. Moore highlighted the program's flexibility.
"For the commuter, it just comes down to your situation. The motivation is different in every conversation. It might be the financial savings, it might be the value in sitting on the bus and catching up on work, or it might be the mental clarity of being able to relax during the commute."
