Fall for Fairfax KidsFest Preparations Require Short-Term Reduction in Parking at Government Center Park & Ride, Sept. 27-Oct. 8, 2019

Fall for Fairfax KidsFest will be held on Oct 5-6 2019  at the Fairfax County Government Center. It’s an exciting, FREE event for children and will feature interactive and educational programs, entertainment and activities. Due to activities related to the event, a section of the Fairfax County Government Center Park and Ride will be closed  and Fairfax Connector Bus Routes 605, 621 and 623 will not serve two stops within the Government Center Campus from Friday, October 4 - Sunday, Oct. 6.

Reduced Parking at the Fairfax County Government Center Park and Ride from Sept. 27- Oct. 8

Due to activities related to the event, sections of the Fairfax County Government Center Park & Ride will be closed from 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27 – Tuesday, Oct. 8.  Please note From Friday, October 4 – Sunday Oct. 6, all vehicles must be removed from the lots.  Parking will resume at the Government Center Park and Ride on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Fairfax Connector Routes Will Not Serve Two Government Center Stops - Friday-Sunday, Oct. 4-6

Fairfax Connector Routes 605, 621 and 623 will not serve the two stops within the Government Center during KidsFest, beginning 9 p.m. on Friday, October 4 through Sunday, Oct. 6. Please use the stops located on Post Forest Drive or Government Center Parkway. Normal service will resume on Monday, October 7.
