Wolftrap Fire and Rescue Station To Open

Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Station 42, Wolftrap, opens for business at 7 a.m., Tuesday, October 1, 2013. The station becomes operational and will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls and be staffed 24/7. The station is located at 1315 Beulah Road, Vienna, Virginia.
The station will initially house an engine company and an EMS Supervisor. Other emergency response units will be added in July of 2014. The station will participate in the upcoming Fire Prevention Open House scheduled for Saturday, October 12, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and will also conduct an apparatus housing ceremony at 1 p.m.
A grand opening of the station is also scheduled for Saturday, November, 2, 2013, at 11 a.m. Community residents are cordially invited to the open house, apparatus ceremony, and the grand opening.
The station is approximately 14,600 square feet, has four drive-through bays, and sits on 6 acres.
