The Training Division trains career and volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians (EMTs) in one of the most progressive combination fire departments in the country. The Training Division handles basic training, field training, emergency medical services (EMS) training, volunteer training, Explorer Post 1949 Program, and Honor Guard Unit. Visit the EMS Simulation Center, and see what new advancements in training and technology make this a premier training facility. The Training Division shall strive to provide the highest quality training, education, and information to the members of the Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department facilitating excellence in service to the citizens and visitors of Fairfax County, Virginia.
