Following the release of the FY 2021 Updated Budget Proposal In Response to the Coronavirus Pandemic on April 7, 2020, the Budget Public Hearings, related to the FY 2021 Budget, FY 2020 Third Quarter Review, and FY 2021-2025 Capital Improvement Program, originally scheduled for April 14 (starting at 4:00 p.m.), April 15 (starting at 3:00 p.m.), and April 16 (starting at 3:00 p.m.) were moved to April 28 (starting at 4:00 p.m.), April 29 (starting at 3:00 p.m.), and April 30 (starting at 3:00 p.m.). 

If you previously signed up for the Budget Public Hearings that were to be held on April 14, 15, and 16, the Department of Clerk Services will be in contact with you shortly. 

Budget Public Hearings on April 28, 29, and 30 are to be held electronically due to the State of Emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, this means that no in-person testimony will be heard, but there are several ways that you can testify:

• Submit Written Testimony: e-mail ClerktotheBOS@fairfaxcounty.gov or submit using an online form; 
• By Phone: Register to Speak; the Department of Clerk Services will give you a call after registering to confirm your preferred method of testifying; or
• By Video: Register to Speak and then submit a YouTube Video here.

Speakers may only testify using one of the methods above. More information on the three ways to testify can be found here.
