The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has established a new Council for Economic Opportunity (CEO) to provide expert guidance to the Board on current and future economic opportunities to support an optimum business climate. The CEO is comprised of the elected Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, corporate leaders from the most competitive business sectors and select workforce and economic development partners. The CEO will:
- Identify cross-cutting actions to support a positive business environment and competitive economy.
- Discuss shared topics of critical importance and review significant economic development projects, strategies or policies.
- Serve as a forum for business, government and education leaders.
