Board of Supervisors Alert:
The Board of Supervisors meets electronically (due to the State of Emergency caused by the COVID-19 pandemic) at 2 p.m. on May 12, 2020.
All meetings are televised on Channel 16, streamed live online and available to view on demand following the meeting. Live audio of the meeting may also be accessed by dialing 703-324-5300.
As the meeting will be held electronically, this means that no in-person testimony will be heard, but there are several ways that you can testify on the Public Hearing items scheduled:
Those wishing to testify via phone or video must register by signing up online here or by calling the Department of Clerk Services at 703-324-3151, TTY 711. Speakers to testify via phone must sign up to testify no later than 12:00 p.m. the day of the hearing to be placed on the Speakers List. Speakers testifying via video must sign up and submit their video no later than 9 a.m. on the day prior to the hearing. For both phone and video testimony, you are given three minutes to speak as an individual; if you are the spokesperson for a group, you are given five minutes. As required by law, copies of the full text of proposed ordinances, plans and amendments, as applicable, as well as other documents relating to the Board of Supervisors meetings, are online, but are also on file and available for review with the Department of Clerk Services.
