Fairfax Connector makes it easy for customers to utilize VRE's Fare-Free September. Several routes (listed below) stop at the Franconia-Springfield Metro Station where you can board the Virginia Railway Express. VRE is offering FREE rides systemwide in September and between the Metrorail stations south of Reagan National Airport in October. This gives residents in Northern Virginia another travel option when Metrorail closes six Blue and Yellow Line stations for construction from September 10 through October 22. Those stations include: Braddock, King St-Old Town, Eisenhower, Huntington, Van Dorn, Franconia-Springfield.
