Fairfax County Department of Family Services is proud to participate in National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). Held each October, NDEAM aims to recognize the essential role people with disabilities play in our nation’s economic success through employment. This episode of Mature Living focuses on disability resources for both older adults and adults with disabilities, as well as those who care for them. Claudia Vila, manager of Disability Rights and Resources in the Department of Family Services, talks to host Anne Hall about the resources available in the county. We also hear from Rose Robinson from the Wellness Center for Older Adults, and Susan Shaw from Fairfax County's Transportation Options, Programs, and Services (TOPS) program. Watch Mature Living.
