Quit Vaping

Vaping is harmful to your health. It impacts your immune system and lung health, and can leave you addicted to nicotine.

Did you know?

  • Your lungs are on the front lines of your immune system. Vaping can make it harder for your body to fight off infections.
  • Vaping can leave you feeling out of breath and to perform worse in sports.
  • Many students believe that vaping is a safe alternative to smoking cigarettes, but that is not true. Nearly all vapes contain nicotine which is highly addictive and can harm both your brain development and ability to function.
  • Vaping aerosol is harmful and contains ingredients such as heavy metal (nickel, tin, lead), arsenic, formaldehyde, cancer-causing chemicals, and flavoring such as diacetyl, a chemical linked to popcorn lung, serious lung disease.
  • Young people who vape may be more likely to go on to use regular cigarettes.
