Featured Artist: Deb Riley, Joy of Movement
Arts for the Aging Teaching Artist Deborah Riley brings her renowned Joy of Movement to you digitally through live workshops via Zoom and other platforms. Seated or standing participants will stretch and dance with their whole body, sing along to familiar music, and playfully synchronize their bodies and minds. These workshops include a wide variety of cultural references, musical styles and tempos and coordinate with a session theme. These themes are customizable to the client partner’s needs and can include, but are not limited to: Rhythms of Life, Connections to One Another, Poetry in Motion, Favorite Foods, and Singing in Motion.
This class is for residents of Fairfax County and the Cities of Fairfax and Falls Church only.
