Domestic violence affects many people in many ways.
And pets are sometimes caught in the middle.
In some cases of domestic violence, people often stay in dangerous situations for fear of leaving a pet to an abusive spouse or partner. Our Animal Shelter has joined with partners to address this dilemma by offering victims the option to house pets at the shelter for up to 60 days. Learn more in this video:
