The Telecommunications Committee was given a presentation by Planning Division staff regarding a new telecommunications permit, Administrative Review Eligible Projects Permits (AREP) and the Consent Agenda process. There was a discussion regarding the Planning Commissions role in the review of AREPs, with staff recommending monthly reviews of a single package of applications under a new consent agenda rule. The Committee voted to recommend approval to the Planning Commission of an amended Resolution which addresses the Planning Commissions review of AREPs through Consent Agenda.
