As part of FCDOT's Trail Ranger Program, we will be hosting group bicycle rides or community walks once a month from April to November. The first community building event is a bike ride set for Saturday, April 18 beginning at 9 a.m. Meet at Stringfellow Park and Ride (4920 Stringfellow Rd, Centreville, VA 20120) and we'll ride 4.5 miles along the 66 Parallel Trail. FCDOT will provide light refreshments such as water and granola bars. Helmets are strongly recommended for anyone over 18 years old. If you are under 18, helmets are required by law. This family-friendly ride is open to all ages and ability levels, provided participants can complete the distance and maintain an average group pace. All bike types are welcome (e.g., e-bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes), except bikes with training wheels. Riders under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Along the ride, cyclists will learn safety etiquette on the roads and trails.
Please fill out the registration form below if you plan to attend the bike ride on April 18.
