Northern Virginia, along with the state of Virginia, is in the process of transforming the behavioral health crisis continuum to establish a comprehensive crisis system based on national best practice models composed of regional crisis call centers, mobile response teams, crisis stabilization centers, and support of the Marcus Alert System.
