Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin appointed Domestic and Sexual Violence Services Division Director Toni Zollicoffer to the Advisory Committee on Sexual and Domestic Violence. This committee, part of the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services, promotes appropriate and effective responses, services, and prevention for sexual assault and domestic violence across the Commonwealth and promotes strong communication, coordination, and strategy at state, regional, and local levels.
“It’s an honor to serve on the Advisory Committee on Sexual and Domestic Violence with such dedicated leaders from across Virgina working together to better respond to sexual and domestic violence in the Commonwealth,” Zollicoffer says.
It’s been a year of accolades for Zollicoffer, who received the Hope Award last fall from the Virginia Sexual and Domestic Violence Action Alliance for her work on partner abuse intervention and prevention. She has been the division director of DSVS since 2018.
