Provider Information

Translate this page into a different language.

therapist talking to clientThe Fairfax-Falls Church CPMT offers youth and their families a broad array of services and supports delivered by private providers in our community.  Providers of child welfare, special education and behavioral health care may apply to be a part of the CSA Continuum of Care.  The service continuum includes providers who offer interventions that are evidence-based, trauma-informed, culturally competent across levels of care such as community-based, in-home, and out of home placements like treatment foster care and residential treatment.

Interested in Becoming a Provider?

Thank you for your interest in becoming a provider of services for children and families served through the Children’s Services Act (CSA). We offer a wide range of services and supports to our community made possible by our provider network.

  • Open Application Process – the Community Policy and Management Team (CPMT) that oversees the CSA program accepts provider applications throughout the year.  Applications are reviewed by cross-agency program staff teams quarterly: July, October, January and April.
  • How to Apply – Potential providers should click the link below to find the application and instructions.  The application and required supporting documents are initially received and reviewed by staff in the Department of Procurement and Materials Management (DPMM). They may contact providers directly for additional information as needed. Learn more about our Open Application Period.
  • Application Review and Approval Process – DPMM contracts staff will ensure that all requirements are met such as insurance, licensure and completed agreements.  These complete applications will move on for programmatic review by the CSA Management Team.  Priority consideration is given to providers who offer evidence-based interventions, demonstrate a commitment to trauma-informed, healing-centered care, and meet language and cultural needs for our diverse community. DPMM staff will communicate with providers who have been approved as a provider.
  • After approval – Providers are registered on internal directories of service providers.  Case managers working with families are then able to select providers from this listing.  Agreements with Fairfax-Falls Church CSA do not represent a guarantee of use.  Individual purchase orders are issued pursuant to the Agreement for Purchase of Services specifying the service(s) required, the rate(s) of the services, the dates for service delivery, and the number of units authorized for the specific client. Services can begin once the provider receives the completed Purchase Order and must be provided within the parameters of the Purchase Order.
