Franconia District Land Use
The Franconia District Land Use Committee is an advisory committee intended to include representation from each of our residential communities within the Franconia District to provide a discussion forum, in addition to individual neighborhood or civic associations, for residents to learn and offer feedback to both applicants and County staff on proposals for land development, land use policy changes and zoning ordinance amendments well in advance of public hearings held before the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors. Recommendations made by the of the Committee are shared with the Franconia District Planning Commissioner and the Franconia District Supervisor for consideration.
The Committee meets on Monday nights at 7pm, usually once per month, but not on any fixed Monday. The Zoom link is the same for every meeting.
Please note that the back-up dates are rarely used but are available in case of cancellation or too many cases to be heard in one meeting that month.
