The Veterans Treatment Docket (VTD) program provides active supervision to Veterans that requires intensive program participation to address issues such as substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, mental health issues, and traumatic brain injury. Program administration continues under the Fairfax-Falls Church Community Services Board (CSB), with continued collaboration with the Court Services Division and the District 29 State Probation & Parole Office.

Community supervision programs improve citizen outcomes, are cost avoidant, and improve equity.  Citizens can more readily access treatment and services, maintain employment, housing, and family responsibilities, and maintain public safety, while reducing the Adult Detention Center (ADC) population.
