Two Public Hearings Scheduled for April 2 Housing Authority Meeting

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) will have two public hearings at their regular meeting on Thursday, April 2 at 7 p.m.  

•    FCRHA Proposed Fiscal Year 2021 Budget
•    Amendment to the Comprehensive Agreement for the Redevelopment of the North Hill property.

FCRHA Proposed Fiscal Year 2021 Budget

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Thursday, April 2, 2020, 7:00 p.m.

The Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) will conduct a public hearing on April 2, 2020, on its proposed Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Budget and on the certification of the proposed budget as consistent with the FCRHA Strategic Plan for Fiscal Year 2021.  The hearing is being conducted in compliance with Section 36-19.2(B) of the Code of Virginia.  The FCRHA meeting and public hearing will be held at 4500 University Drive, Fairfax, VA, April 2, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.  Interested residents are invited to share their views on the budget at the public hearing.  An overview of the proposed FY 2021 FCRHA Budget and the FCRHA Strategic Plan for Fiscal Year 2021 are available for public review on the County website at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/housing/data/strategic-plan and at the Fairfax County Department of Housing and Community Development, 3700 Pender Drive, Suite 300, Fairfax, VA, or by calling Stephen Knippler at 703-246-5161.  If you have any questions concerning the public hearing, please call 703-246-5161, TTY: 711.
 

Amendment to Comprehensive Agreement – North Hill Redevelopment

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Thursday, April 2, 2020 at 7:00 p.m.

Notice is hereby given that the Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) will hold a public hearing on April 2, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. during its regular meeting in the FCRHA Board Room, located at One University Plaza (4500 University Drive, Fairfax, Virginia). The public hearing is on a proposed Amendment to Comprehensive Agreement with CHPPENN I, LLC for the redevelopment of the FCRHA-owned North Hill property identified as a part of Fairfax County Tax Map No. 92-4 ((1)), parcel 82A (the “Property”), in the Mount Vernon District, pursuant to the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act of 2002, as amended Va. Code Ann §§ 56-575.1-575.16 (“PPEA”).  

In accordance with the requirements of the Public-Private Education Facilities and Infrastructure Act (PPEA) Guidelines of the County adopted pursuant to Va. Code Ann §§ 56-575.1-575.16, a copy of the proposed Amendment to Comprehensive Agreement is available for review in the Office of the Clerk to the Board of Supervisors in the Fairfax County Government Center, located at 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Virginia 22035.  In addition, a copy of the Amendment to Comprehensive Agreement, including exhibits, has been posted on the website of the Department of Procurement and Material Management and may be viewed at https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/procurement/ppea and below. A link to this notice will also be available at http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/housing.
