FCRHA Highlighted by Affordable Housing News Magazine

photoThe Fairfax County Redevelopment and Housing Authority (FCRHA) was among a select handful of housing authorities from across the country to be interviewed by writers from the Affordable Housing News magazine for a special feature in their recently released Winter 2021 edition.

“Over the course of these last two years, in spite of the challenges brought upon us by the pandemic, the FCRHA has continued to achieve new heights in providing housing for those who need it most. From our administration of housing voucher programs serving more than 20,000 residents to advancing innovations in policy and investments to preserve and develop units of affordable housing all throughout the county, the FCRHA is increasingly being recognized across the country as a leader in the housing community.”

- Melissa McKenna, Chairman, FCRHA

Featuring an interview with Department of Housing and Community Development Director, Tom Fleetwood, the article provides a brief conceptual overview of the role and of several featured initiatives of the FCRHA.
