Manufactured Housing Roundtable

roundtableMission

The Manufactured Housing Roundtable is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on the lives of residents and owners in manufactured (mobile) housing communities. By actively advocating for their needs, sharing inspiring stories, problem-solving and engaging with staff and decision-makers to tackle the unique challenges these communities face, residents as community representatives and park owners can work toward a brighter future for all residents.

Apply to become a Resident Roundtable Representative

Become a representative for the Fairfax County Manufactured Housing Round Table! This is a fantastic opportunity for residents of manufactured housing communities to collaborate and make a real difference in enhancing the quality of life in our neighborhoods.

Manufactured Housing Roundtable Resident Application

We encourage individuals of all backgrounds, professions, genders, abilities, and ethnicities to apply. In 2021, the Board of Supervisors adopted the Public Trust and Confidentiality Policy (Trust Policy) to reaffirm the county’s commitment to improving community health, welfare, safety, and trust. This policy ensures that immigrant residents can access county benefits and services without fear that the information they share will be disclosed to federal immigration officials.

Roundtable meetings will be held virtually once a month, and interpretation services will be provided to ensure everyone's voice is heard.

Property Owners and Managers
Property owners and managers of manufactured housing communities interested in this opportunity should contact Ivana Escobar, the Manufactured Housing Coordinator, at ivana.escobar@fairfaxcounty.gov or 703.324.9990.

This roundtable brings together a diverse group of 25 representatives, including:

  • Twenty-two (22) residents from the seven manufactured housing communities in Fairfax County, are part of the roundtable.

    • 3 seats representing Alexandria Mobile Home Park (Previously known as Rays/Engleside)
    • 4 seats representing Audubon Estates
    • 2 seats representing Harmony Place Mobile Home Park

In the fall of 2024, HCD, in collaboration with NCS, organized a series of engaging Community Conversation for all seven manufactured housing communities. These gatherings aimed to introduce the roundtable and explain its valuable purpose. To learn more and review the presentation please click the link below.
